With our "Thank You" discounts, various charitable donations, and involvement in non-profit organizations, The Barn at Valhalla is committed to growing the local community and beyond.

We are very proud to have sponsored a wide variety of local events and we continue to support community efforts, art performances, business launches, unique catered dinners, and wellness seminars. We believe in working together to create a community that we can be proud of and we consider ourselves lucky to be apart of this one.

To give back, we offer a "Thank You" discount to those serving our community:  military, police, nurses, EMTs, teachers, and firefighters.  It's our way of making sure you are aware of how much we appreciate you and your efforts.

Mission of Heeling Flowers: "Our mission at Heeling Flowers is to repurpose flowers and deliver them to patients at UNC Hospitals."

About Heeling Flowers: "We were inspired by stories like this one (http://www.upworthy.com/most-people-throw-away-hundreds-of-flowers-after-their-wedding-she-puts-them-back-to-work) to create a local flower recycling project. Our mission is to repurpose flowers from local events and prepare flower arrangements that will be given to patients at UNC Hospitals. The bouquets delivered to UNC Hospitals are anonymous and will just let patients know that someone is thinking of them."

How you can help: "E-mail us at heelingflowers@gmail.com to schedule a flower pickup after your event. We accept all flowers and vases and one of our volunteers will come pick up donations without any cost to you. Or, check us out on Facebook!"
